O índio que a paz

O índio que respeito

O índio quer espaço

E lutar por seus direitos

Tudo começou

Em um lindo país

Ninguém o conhecia

E o índio era feliz

Chagaram os portugueses

E também senhor Cabral

Dando presente para os índios

Enganando na moral ...

Roubaram matéria prima

E tudo que podiam levar

Escravizaram nossos índios

Colocaram pra trabalhar

As mulheres estupradas

Por serem mais fortes e bonitas

Os índios morrendo aos poucos

E aquela nação ficando mais rica

Maltratados e humilhados

Só querendo reconhecimento

Sua cultura acabando

E nos protesta só lamento!

Mistreated and humiliated
Only wanting recognition
Their culture eventually
And protests in the only regret!
